There’s something special about an outdoor sports show. A certain energy exists at an event that offers so many things under one roof — resorts and destinations, new and unique outdoor products, informational seminars, great deals on ice fishing gear, and a chance to meet industry celebrities and influencers.

In addition to these great things, one of the biggest advantages of coming to an ice expo is the chance to engage with the people that are experts on products or destinations. Show attendees get the chance to ask questions with Pro Staff, product specialists, brand representatives, guides and outdoor industry personalities.

The Lake of the Woods Family of Resorts had knowledgable staff on hand this year, as well as some of our guides that have many years of experience to share. Show attendees were able to enjoy talking one-on-one with our team members — with the opportunity to ask questions and learn about ice fishing, best tactics, our resorts, and what makes Lake of the Woods one of the best walleye fisheries in the world. And of course, they got a chance to swap a few fish stories!

The solid turnout after COVID cancelled the 2020 shows demonstrates how important that personal interaction and show experience can be to outdoorsmen and women. It’s an experience that can’t be replicated through online or broadcast media. And the St. Paul Ice Show is the largest single ice expo in the country. Thank you to everyone that stopped by our booths to chat. If you haven’t been to the St. Paul Ice Show, be sure to put it on your calendar and come visit us next year. In the meantime…come up and fish with us on Lake of the Woods!
