As summer draws to a close, we’ve got plenty of great fishing left.
Walleye fishing has picked up and our guides are catching good numbers of nice keepers. We’re pulling crank baits in the mud and still using our go-to tactic of the summer…pulling spinners with a night crawler. Soon, the jig bite will turn on which is another fun tactic that our guest love. When you feel the “thump”, set the hook and get crankin’ to get another walleye in the box!
We’re also looking forward to a great fall season up here on Lake of the Woods. As the water temps start to cool, the fish will be aggressively feeding. And when the shiners move up into the Rainy River, that’s the time to catch some giant Lake of the Woods Walleye.
Check out the photo gallery of great catches and happy anglers! We had to throw in a food pic too…
