Ice conditions are good at around 28″-32″ thick. We constantly monitor the conditions for safety. We’re catching fish in around 28-30 feet of water. We’re getting a good mix of walleye and sauger with some fat perch too!

The dead stick with a minnow close to the bottom is a must-have, but keep a jigging rod active too. Houses that have been pulling in the most fish this past week have been fishing very aggressively. Also, try downsizing to a smaller jig or spoon as a smaller presentation seems to trigger the finicky fish.

Tip of the Week
We’re finding a lot of insects in the fish and on the bottom of the buckets so try some insect plastics on a jig.
